Clayne Madison Williams passed away February 16, 2021 at the age of 80.

Clayne was born October 13, 1940 to Farriel and Lile Williams in Rupert, Idaho. He attended White Pine High School in Ely, Nevada, graduating in 1959. Clayne married his high school sweetheart, Virginia Metcalf, and joined the United States Air Force right out of high school. Clayne served for two tours in Vietnam, retiring from the Air Force in 1979.

Following his retirement from the military, Clayne moved his family to Twin Falls, Idaho. He worked at Henningsen Cold Storage as a refrigeration maintenance engineer until civilian retirement, and then took a job working at Cactus Pete’s Resort Casino in Jackpot, Nevada.

Clayne and Virginia were accomplished square dancers and competed in competitions all over the country. They also loved to bowl. Clayne was enormously proud of his grandchildren and attended as many games and events as he could. Clayne was introduced to Facebook and posted every morning “good morning everyone”. We will all miss our morning greeting from him.

Clayne is survived by his eldest son, Steven Williams, son, Clayne Williams, Jr., both from Twin Falls; daughter, Candy Beadz from Wendell, ID; sister, Dawn Dickinson from Everett, WA, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and ten nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death his parents, wife, Virginia; older brother, Royce Williams; sister, Verlynne Watne, and grandson, Shawn Williams.
