Obituary for Eugene "Gene" Simpson
Eugene “Gene” Simpson, 86, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, at home.
Gene was born October 20, 1934, in Falmouth, Kentucky, one of nine children, to Ali and Mattie Evans Simpson.
Gene married Georgia Farley on October 7, 1967. They were blessed with 6 children, 25 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. They had 53 years together and enjoyed every one of them. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren, he loved everyone, especially Jesus. Gene served in the United States Navy. He loved sports and was a big Dodgers and Cleveland Browns fan.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday June 10, 2021, at Snake River Canyon National Cemetery at Buhl, Idaho. Pastor Paul Thompson will officiate.
